Job Title: Sales Executive Function: Business Development
Reports to: Head of Business development and strategy Sub-function: Sales
Location: Accra


Role purpose: Axxend is going through structural transformation to provide unmatched customer experience to its customers. We want to achieve this through our vertical and horizontal growth and we believe we can do this through sales.

Job description


–  Present and promote services/solution using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.

–  Analyze the territory/markets potential, track sales and status reports

–  Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs

–  Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships

–  Reach out to customer leads through cold calling and other channels

–  Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction

–  Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule

–  Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments

–  Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new solutions and services.

–  Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends

–  Continuously improve through feedback

–  Develop annual Sales plan in conjunction with the business development team, which details activities to follow during the fiscal year, which will focus on meeting organizational objectives of maximizing revenue

–  Identify sale opportunities by identifying customer requirements; defining markets, competitor’s share, and competitor’s strengths and weaknesses, forecasting projected businesses; establishing targeted market share



  • Proven at least 2 years work experience as a sales representative
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Microsoft cloud products
  • Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • A degree or equivalent
